Walkin' and Talkin'
On July 28th, Scarlett took her first 3-5 real steps. Jordan said before she was born, he wanted her walking by 10 months. I told him that was a long shot, but she did it. She progressively got braver and better, but by August 10th she started really walking with a purpose. It's like a switch flipped and she decided it was time to take this walking thing more seriously. She also says, "Da-Da" and knows exactly who that is and she also knows what it means when we say "Stand up!" She immediately obeys. It is amazing watching her learn and figure things out. I know all new parents say that, but it really is miraculous. Babies are just so dang smart! Except when they eat diaper rash cream. That is not so smart.

Also, it was Osteo-stache week to welcome the first year med students. Can you tell how pumped we are to be back in school?

Haha oh my gosh, she is so big. I miss you so much.
ReplyDeleteSince I haven't blogged since, like, Adam, I haven't read any blogs either. You should take it as a huge compliment that I just commented not once, not twice, but THREE times! p.s. That last picture should be your Christmas card photo. Triple dog dare.
ReplyDeleteYay! Go Scarlet!
ReplyDeleteYou all look quite swell with facial hair!
