Husband.

Having a baby and all kind of makes life all about that, but don't worry, I didn't forget that I have the cutest, funniest, most precious husband in the world. Here is how he made me laugh in just the last couple of days.

While trying to open a stubborn bag of cheese he said, "This is like the hardest thing in the world, I would rather take a block exam than try to open this cheese." His block exams are every three weeks and they are four hours long and they suck. I reminded him of this and he said, "Okay, I would rather take a block exam prepared than open this cheese...armless."

After talking about how much I like salty and he likes sweet, he looked at Scarlett and said, "Her fries will always be in her ice cream."

Before we go to bed, he always peaks in at our sleeping angel and begs me to let her sleep with us. Last night he came in and said, "Are you sure she can't sleep with us? I just miss her so much. It's like she's apart of the team, and then we oust her."

I love that man. I love being married to him. He is our provider and protector, but he is also a perfect partner. Now I also love being a parent with him. I have watched him put on the mantle of fatherhood and he absolutely amazes me. He loves his girls and I know it because he says it and he shows it. He is everything good and I can't believe I got so lucky.

  1. I can't believe you got so lucky either. How does such an average looking, under-achieving, unintelligent, shallow girl make such a stellar catch?

    Pffft.

    As if.
