My mom gave us her old nightstands when we got married. I have been wanting to get my hands on these babies for almost a year now and I finally have the time to do it! So here they are! Before and after:
I restained the top a dark walnut and painted the base cafe cream (I know... it looks as edible as it sounds, especially in person). I wasn't planning on painting the handles, but the old ones looked green against the cream and dark finish, so I got a metallic spray paint called hammered brown. I love them. I will probably distress them over time as they get beaten up on their own, but until then, we have two new nightstands!

O my heavens. Those are SO CUTE! I've been searching for some cute fix-me-up's. We are currently nightstand-less and I'm getting a little T.O.'d having to get out of bed when I'm all cozy to turn out the light. haha So point being...I'll hire you! haha I can't wait to see your other projects!
