Disneyland and 22 Weeks.

For our honeymoon, Jordan and I got season passes to Disneyland. Jordan's sister Kristi got married two months after us and she and her husband did the same thing. We decided to go back with them and split the cost of gas and hotels and such. Brilliant idea. Disneyland doesn't get much cheaper when your tickets are already paid for and you split the cost of everything else. We did it in December with them, too, and we went for our last time last week since our passes end next month. Here are some gem moments from this vacation.

- It was super windy on the drive there (what's with all this wind??) and when we stopped so I could pee for the fifth time, the wind pulled Kristi's door into the Suburban next to us. The lady had just parked there so she was still in the car and came out screaming and swearing and name-calling and made us write down our information and everything. The scratch was about the size of a quarter and could barely be seen after Jordan wiped off most of it. She called the cops and said her car had been "hit" as if it were this huge accident. She finally let us go and we haven't heard from her since. I'm pretty sure she got laughed at when the cop showed up.

- While watching the AMAZING water show "World of Color," a mom rushed by us with her son. We found out too well why she was running out in the middle of a fantastic display of lasers, lights, fire, music, and video projections when her son vomited by our feet.

- Pirates is my favorite ride in the world. It has been since I was little. You get a couple good falls and 17 minutes of sitting in a dark, cool, underground world. I wasn't expecting the new show we had this time. The woman in front of us whipped out her boob and started breastfeeding her one-year-old the moment we sat down on the ride till the moment we got off. I'm a fan of breastfeeding, but haven't you ever heard of a Hooter-Hider lady??

- Being pregnant at Disneyland was not as fun and easy as I thought it was going to be. After two hours I think I would have been more comfortable if my feet had just fallen off and I have never had such severe back pain in my life. I felt like such a pansy. I know it wasn't my fault, but I felt super dumb. I got to meet a lot of nice people though while I sat and waited for Jordan and my in-laws to go on the rides I couldn't. I also got to ride a lot of the little Fantasy Land rides while I waited. My sweet husband could tell I was starting to get lonely, so we ditched the other couple and got some fun alone time at the happiest place on earth.

- We decided to divide our trip home into two days so we stopped in Henderson, Nevada and did sealings at the temple there. The sealer taught us some profound things and it was a really good experience. I am so happy I get to be with my family forever and that our little one is going to be ours for eternity.

So I am super bad and taking pregnancy pictures. I'm averaging about every four weeks. Oh well. At least there are more drastic changes between each picture.

She is a very active little girl. Kicking and kicking all the time. She weighs over a pound now so it's nice to know at least one of my 14 pounds gained is coming straight from her.

  2. Oh just wait. You know how when you buy a new car you start seeing that car everywhere? Well, when you start breastfeeding you start discovering all these women that whoop out their boobs in public and give you a look of shame for not doing the same. They even have conferences.

  3. You're so much nicer than I was when I was pregnant. I only have one picture of me being pregnant and it's because my friend Ganelle made me do it. I was mad at her for years!
