Scar-ceratops

So Scarlett is a bully. She's a scratcher and a pusher and a bulldozer and a problem. I've been consistent with pulling her out of the situation, telling her to show me what it looks like to be "soft and nice" and then having her say sorry and give "loves and snuggles." The good news is, her rampages are getting less frequent, but they are also getting more painful. It used to be just slapping faces, now it's clawing faces and fish-hooking cheeks and wrapping her arms around bellies from behind and shrieking in ears while wrestling to the ground (much like a scene from Jurassic Park). Then she gets up and gives them a kiss. Today when she drew blood from two sweet faces in less than three minutes, I was the one who started crying. She does seem to be growing out of it, and clearly she knows how to give loves and seek forgiveness, but it's getting old and I feel so bad for the victims. I really hope this is just a phase and that it's only foreshadowing a fiery, passionate, charismatic girl who will be able to channel her rage into something good--like cheating at skee ball.

  1. hahaha! Scar-ceratops! That is too funny. At least she's a cute scar-ceratops. We need to have another play date sometime this week. I will try and get something planned and let you know.

  2. Great name! She is such a cute girl - and who taught her to cheat at skee ball? Did she figure it out by herself?

  3. Something about these photos reminds me of her Papou. Is this or is this not totally something he would do?!
