This and That.

I had a dream last night that I was on the moon collecting "moon dust" because it was anti-aging. Spread the word.

A few weeks ago, I dyed my hair platinum blonde. It kind of looked really horrible. It was  brassy and yellow, even after using toner. I think if I had used more it would have been fine, but it was just too light and I am so fair that I looked sickly. Every time I passed myself in the mirror I made a "yikes" face. I'm glad I did it because I've always wondered if it would suit me, but now I know. I finally dyed it a little darker, and now instead of brassy, it is bronzy. My sweet friend who does hair professionally has been trying to help me fix it, but blonde is a tough color to work with. Oh well. Luckily I am already married.

Me and Scarlett play with a baby who was born on the exact same day as her and it's fun to see their different strengths. The other baby is way more mobile and walks along holding onto furniture and climbs all over you. Scarlett though is more social and we can always get a big belly laugh out of her. She is also very good at eating solid foods and can gum and swallow anything you give her. I just realized the other baby's mom competes in triathlons and has competed in more than one Iron Man. Scarlett's mom is known for her incessant laughter and love of food. I'm seeing a trend here...

I can't believe that baby is seven months old. We have so much fun. We get stopped at the store all the time so people can tell me how beautiful she is. She coyly bats her long eyelashes and smiles and rests her head on me. She's good. Her current favorite things are buzzing her lips, playing with her tongue, singing when I sing, and getting SO EXCITED when daddy comes home. Below is a video a few minutes after he walked in the door. Sorry it's a little shaky at some parts. I was trying to move it where she wouldn't pay attention to it because once she sees it, game over.

  1. There are so many things I have to say, I don't know where to start! haha. "Luckily, I'm already married." hahah, classic. the video was so good. Love her laugh. It was probably funnier listening to the sounds Jordan was making though because I had absolutely no idea what he was doing. Also, for some reason it's weirder to comprehend that Jordan is a dad rather than you being a mom. You being a mom seems more natural to me. But seeing Jordan be a dad is like, mega crazy. Maybe that makes no sense. Anyways I am sad I cant chew on that babies cheeks and admire how pretty she is, too.
