Guest Book

For the wedding, I am doing a Guestbook Quilt. The guests will sign quilt-squares and hang them about on a clothes line and later (who knows when?) I will sew them into a quilt. I almost backed out of doing it because it's a lot of work and one more homemade project that I wasn't sure I wanted to do, but I am SO glad I did. I think it's going to turn out beautifully and really pull together our shabby chic/french country wedding theme.

10.5 yards of fabric.
21 different fabrics.
21 squares per fabric pattern.
3 hours of searching for said fabric.
Roughly 5 hours of ironing, measuring, and cutting.
Put it all together and what have you got?
441 squares and 441 scraps.
